Choose two aerial photographs of the same ground. Move the divider to notice change, then check the dates and evidence.

Source: MassGIS / Commonwealth of Massachusetts EOTSS. All nine photographs use the same extent. Current FY2026 assessor outlines are a reference, not historical lot boundaries or a survey. Both 1999 and 2025 are after the school opened. Seasons, colors, and image resolution differ.
Why the dates matter
The service named “1990s” uses 1999 photography over the Vineyard. The service named “2001” uses April 2003 photographs for the islands. Mixed-year collections keep their date ranges. The 2025 image is not a live view of today.

Green woodland shading crosses the future campus. This supports a woodland interpretation at the map’s scale. It does not prove that no small structure, clearing, or earlier land use ever existed.
1951: a different map language

This map does not use the same green forest shading. A white background is not proof of cleared land. Compare each map’s legend before comparing its colors.
Zoom out: satellite context

The satellite image helps show the wider landscape. Its source pixels are about ten meters across, so it is less useful for identifying small school structures.
Research snapshot: September 23, 2026. The newest acquired aerial is from 2025. Original documents, catalog notes, and source images retain their original language.
